 |
        | 0774 | Firefighter helmet from the Netherlands. The black leather helmet was used around 1940. The massive leather body has an eye and a neck brim. Both are set with brass. The two brims are not connected at the side. A cockade is attached on the side. The chin strap and the neck protector are attached to it. The brass comb has a triangular shape. Early-generation helmets (until 1930) had the same helmet shape but a higher ridge with ventilation opening, such as helmet No. 750, the Netherlands. On the front is the brass badge of the fire brigades of the Netherlands. |
