| 0090 | Fire helmet of a Dutch officer. The white Polycarbonathelm made by the German manufacturer Römer, is sold by the company Kraayer in Holland. The helmet type is called Holland and was sold as Innova 2000 by Kraayer. The helmet attaches himself to the form of the old Dutch leather helmet. This one also was produced to 1945 in Germany. The helmet is the successor of the number 102, which one was no longer authorized because of the electrically leading metal parts since 1986. The helmet with cockscomb has a circulating, 5 mm thick red stripe. There is a heavy copper badge of the Dutch fire departments on the front how it was used at the predecessor helmets. This helmet also isn't allowed because of his electrically leading coat of arms. One approx. 32 mm each great, round, serrated cockade is lateral, on which the helmet from the coat of arms is shown. The helmet edge is edged circulatingly with a thick, rubber similar material (edge protection). The inside helmet resembles to the German helmets DIN 14940. The helmet has in addition a Dutchman cloth, which one is closed in front with velcros. The directly adjustable chinstrap is also very solid. The circulating red stripe indicates the strap as "Bevelvoerder" what in Germany corresponds to the group leader. Every fireman to fire chiefs traditionally wore a black helmet. The higher officers a white one. White helmets, however, are visible better, almost all helmets are white in Holland in the meantime there. Some fire departments have kept the color system, however. 2005 the rearrangement to persistent helmet colors starts at the moment. | |||||
