Fire helmet from the Netherlands. Manufacturer of the helmet is the company Auto-Heco from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The helmet type is called PU4. The red fiberglass helmet has the following stamping on the leather headband: "ARB-INSPEC. P.U.4 "and in the helmet shell the stamp" AI 507 ". Both meanings are unknown. The helmet has an edge protection. The inner helmet is attached to the helmet shell with a string. The inner helmet consists of linen stripes, a leather head ring and a white leather chin strap. The neck protection cloth is also attached to the cord of the inner helmet attachment. On the front is the badge of the Dutch Fire Brigade as it was worn between 1986 and 2000. According to a note in the inside of the helmet, the helmet is a helmet from a firefighter rank of the company fire brigade of Maastricht prison. He was used there until 1991. |
