Australia Synthetic helmet (˜2008)

0978 Fire helmet from Australia. Manufacturer is the company Pacific Helmets from New Zealand. The helmet type is called BR9. The helmet was produced in April 2008 according to AS / NZS 1801: 1997 Type 3. AS and NZS are the Australian and New Zealand standards, 1801 is the standard for Bush Fire Helmets. The helmet was equipped with goggles although it has a plexiglass visor. The flexible rubber band of the glasses is attached to the rear brim. On the front is the badge of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services West Australia. On the back side is the name of the fire department "West Swan BFB", on the two sides "Swan Deputy".
The helmet is also available in the following variants:
BR9T with opening for a light. As on helmet 0833, Portugal or 0180, Malaysia.
BR9 SC (cap style) without neck brim
BR9 WD (Wide Brim) with large rotating brim

Certification & Approval:
- Helmet certified to AS/NZS1801:1997, Type 3.
- Face shield is approved to EN166 (equivalent to AS/NZS1337.1).
