Fire helmet from Poland. The fiberglass helmet has a harness made of linen. The leather head ring is separated from the helmet shell with single pieces of foam material. The inner helmet is attached by a cord to the helmet shell. The leather chin strap has a two-point attachment. It is adjustable in length by a metal eyelet. The helmet has a narrow, very high wooden comb. At the front there is a metal emblem as it was already worn in 1920 on brass helmets. |
