Fire helmet from Germany. Spike helmet from the time of the German Reich. For details about the Pickelhaube see helmet 0033, Germany. The spiked helmet bears the emblem of Württemberg. The blazon was worn between 1922 and 1933. From 1933 the wall crown over the coat of arms is omitted. The spike helmet of the fire department was for high officer grades. It has nickel-plated fittings, cross blade fitting, the tip is unscrewable for a horse hair bush. It has a flat, nickel-plated chinscales, attachment with split pins. The inside color of the helmet is brown. The helmet has no cockades. The manufacturer is unknown. |
