Fire helmet from the USA. Manufacturer of the helmet is the company PREMIER Safety Equipment Co, Hamilton, Ohio, USA. The helmet type is called: Premier 1000. The fiberglass helmet was produced in December 1978 according to ANSI Z89.1. The helmet in the classic American style has a polystyrene layer on the inside without any further straps. The nylon chinstrap is adjusted via two metal closures. The neck protection cloth is attached to the chin strap and at the back side to a push button. The helmet crest runs very pointed at the front. The visor made of polycarbonate is attached to the side. A metal strap above the front brim is part of the visor attachment. In the helmet, a sticker with the inscription "Torrance CA" can be seen. The city of Torrance is located in California. The Fire Department Torrance has today (2017) distributed six fire stations over the city. |
