0903 Fire helmet from Australia. The white polycarbonate helmet was built by MSA, USA. The helmet type is called Topgard. The helmet was produced in 1982. The valid standard was the ANSI Z89.1-1969 and Australian Standard AS 1801. The helmet is adjustable to head sizes from 6 1/2 to 7 ¾ inches. The helmet was very common worldwide. The helmet was worn by the Northern Territory Fire Service. At the front is its emblem. The state of Northern Territory is the middle of the three northern states. His capital is Darwin.
The Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) has a total of 26 Fire and Rescue facilities throughout the Northern Territory.
There are 6 career stations located in Alice Springs, Berrimah, Darwin, Marrara, Palmerston and Humpty Doo (weekdays), there are 5 career and part-time (Auxiliary/Volunteer) stations located in the major regional centres of Katherine, Jabiru, Nhulunbuy, Tennant Creek and Nhulunbuy.
There are 8 volunteer Fire and Emergency Response Groups (FERGS) located in Adelaide River, Batchelor, Borroloola, Elliott, Mataranka, Pine Creek, Timber Creek, and Ti Tree. A further 4 Volunteer Fire Brigades exist at Howard Springs, Humpty Doo, Koolpinyah and Virginia Bees Creek. There are 2 Remote Volunteer Brigades Bathurst Island and Yirrkala and 1 Rural Fire Brigade at Alice Springs.
