Fire helmet from Germany. The black leather helmet dates from around 1915. For details on the helmet, see helmet number 487, Germany. The badge of the Freistaat Lippe (Free State of Lippe) is attached to the front of the helmet. Descriptions of the badge see helmet 0772, Germany Manufacturer of the helmet is the company Heiner Meyer from Hagen in Westfahlen. On the right side is the cockade of Lippe-Dettmold (yellow-red). The cockade of the German Reich on the left side is missing. |
