Fire helmet from the capital of Luxembourg. The fire helmet is basically a French fire helmet. The helmet is based on the army steel helmet type Adrian M26, but was built as a M33 with a new comb for the fire department. The helmet was used in almost all French fire departments until the beginning of the 1980s. See helmets 0038, 0385 and 0452, France. The fire brigade Luxembourg was, at least in the fire helmets, influenced by France. Thus, the fire department of the Duchy was also equipped with the Adrian helmets. At the front of the helmet is the usual french badge with the text "Sapeurs Pompiers Luxembourg Ville" for the capital. In addition to this lettering, there was also the text: "Sapeurs Pompiers de Luxembourg" for the country Luxembourg (see helmet 0634, Luxembourg). Successor is from 1986 on the newly developed Gallet F1 helmet. See helmet 0307, Luxembourg. |
