Fire helmet from New Zealand. Manufacturer of the helmet is the company Pacific Helmets from New Zealand. The helmet type is called "R5". Here, "R" stands for Rescue. It was produced in February 1999. The helmet is approved according to Australian and New Zealand standard AS / NZS1801. Its adjustable head size ranges from 54 to 62 cm. The light helmet for rescue service and technical assistance is available in different versions. The R5T, for example, has an opening for inserting a helmet light. Models with the name R5V have built a ventilation option on the helmet comb. In addition to the former series R3, R5 and R7 for the rescue, there is today (2018) also an R6 series. The helmet shell is made of Kevlar. On the side of the helmet is the words "Rescue".
