Fire helmet from France. The helmet is not a fire helmet in the real sense. This is clearly indicated by the text in the helmet shell. "This is a toy, it does not offer any protection!" Nevertheless, the children's helmet is a very nice replica of the Gallet helmets of this time. It has a gold-colored and even translucent visor, an interior lining of red fabric and an elastic chin strap with chin guard. The helmet does not have a front badge, this is only indicated. But there is the coat of arms and the text of the fire department Paris on it. The helmet and matching carton were exhibited at Interschutz 2000 in Augsburg and handed over by Gallet. |
