In this collection since: 28.01.2016
0762 Fire helmet from South Korea. The black plastic helmet made of polycarbonate is made by SanCheong. The Helmet model is the fifth version in South Korea. With the helmets of the rescue service together, there are a total of seven versions. The helmet is worn from 2003 onwards. This helmet was built 12.2002. It should be one of the first helmets produced. Firefighter used the black helmet with yellow glowing stickers on the side. Officers used the same helmet in blue colour. By the end of 2002, firefighters wore then the yellow helmet, the officers the white. The helmet resembles the American model in its form. The aluminum-coated nape cloth is not present on this helmet. The very stable inner helmet provides a very good fit, the nylon chin strap is closed by a stable plastic closure, the length adjustment is made by a Velcro closure. The eye protection is relatively short. The edges of the helmet are enclosed with a soft PVC edge protector, the helmet can be suspended by means of an eyelet at the rear end. The inner helmet allows an adaptation to the head size via a rotary knob.
The helmet type is called SCA-PH-01. It is introduced in 2009 as model 1205-AR. At the back of the helmet is a sticker. On it stands the following: "Fire station Gongreung Professional fire department No-won". Inside the helmet is the manufacturer's label. The "Fi" number is comparable to the German "DIN" or the European "EN" standardization. The following data are listed on the label: product name, serial number, manufacturer, model number, date of manufacture, manufacturing number.
The company SanCheong is a company located in South Korea.
