Synthetic helmet (˜2014)

Fire helmet from Croatia. The manufacturer of this helmet is the Croatian company PAB. The helmet type is called "mini classic". The helmet has almost the same helmet shape as the "classic" model. It is somewhat smaller and consists of a different material. The Mini Classic was conceived for use by the youth fire brigades. The development took place in 2014. The model was presented as a prototype in 2014 at the trade fair "Rettmobil" in Fulda, Germany. At the next show at the "Florian" trade fair in Dresden, also in 2014, the helmet was already certified according to the EN397 (industry standard). From this helmet, about 20 to 25 pieces were built for test and exhibition purposes. The company PAB has then decided to modify the helmet once more. For this reason, the prototypes of 2014 have never been on the market. The revised model will be available from the second half of 2016 onwards. The inner helmet will have a different shape and be better equipped. The material in the prototype is polyamide. Which material the series helmet will get, has not yet been decided. |
