Fire helmet from Turkey. The glass fiber helmet is dyed red. He has a long neck leather and a big visor. The helmet is similar to helmet number 0030 and 0406. This helmet generation was built from 1970 until the year 2000. The way of fastening the very poor inner helmet is striking. The helmet has no quick release at the chin strap. At the front, there is the insignia of Turkish fire brigades made of brass. The helmet was used around 1970. The brass badge on the front is, however, older. It comes from the time around 1960. Before 1975 were worn, among other things, helmets of the Italian company MISPA Turin in Turkey. After 1975 the helmets were modeled after the Mispa helmets in Turkey. On current website (2012) these helmets are still offered. They should still be in action. See helmet no .: 0030/0115, Turkey. The helmet comes from the city of Yalova. Yalova is the capital of the Turkish province of Yalova. It is located on the south-eastern part of the Marmara Sea, about 24 nautical miles from Istanbul. |
