Fire helmet from Spain. Helmet manufacturer is Duraleu- Forte from Italy. The helmet type is "Modelo Bomberos Ayunt Barcelona". The black thermoset helmet was used in the city of Barcelona in the years around 1980. The helmet is oriented very strongly on the Mispahelmen from Italy (see helmets 165/168/305). The chin strap is made of nylon. The chin strap can not be opened. It is only adjustable in length. At the front is the badge of the fire brigade of Barcelona. Beside the inscription "Bomberos" it shows the burning tower, ax, spade and hose. The helmet has openings on the side in which threads are inserted. Here a visor could be attached. (See helmet 0641, Spain). Why the badge at the front is different than that at helmet number 0408, Spain, is not clear. See also helmets 408/731/735 |
