Fire helmet from Denmark. The manufacturer of the helmet is the Swedish company Brissmans in Halmstad. The helmet made of chrome-plated aluminum with comb, was modeled on the German fire helmet. The interior lining made of brown leather is very solid. The inner helmet, as well as the headband, has to be adjusted with strings. A manufacturer's mark is attached to the rear screen. There is: "BBH" Brissmans - Brandredskap - Halmstad. Also on the leather of the inner helmet a manufacturing mark can be seen. The head size is indicated by 2 / 56-59. Additional leather straps are attached to the inner helmet to secure a neck leather. The helmet is lined with an insulating foam. On the front is a star made of brass. On the star is the badge of the fire brigade of Copenhagen. Using time of the helmet approx. 1950. See also helmet 770/336 |
