Netherlands Aluminum helmet (˜1970)
In this collection since: 05.11.2015
0715 Fire helmet from the Netherlands. The aluminum helmet was produced in 1970 in Germany. Since the DIN 19640 (German Industry Norm) is valid since January 1962, this helmet is built according to DIN. The stamping is inside the rear screen. The aluminum comb was added for use at the Dutch fire brigade. The comb is not provided for use in DIN 14940. The helmet comes from the Opel factory fire brigade in Dordrecht. On the front is a small brass badge. The emblem is the uniform fire-fighting sign of the Netherlands, which was used between 1950 and 1980. See helmet 0428, The Netherlands.
