Fire helmet from the USA. The manufacturer is Cairns & Brothers, USA. The helmet model from the "Flint Flex Series" is called "725 Cavallier". The helmet was built around 1960. The Flint Flex series was the first helm series built by Cairns at the new location in Ney Jersey. In addition, Cairns switched from metal helmets to the lighter helmets made of phenolic resin. The series included the helmets "No 910 Continental" (see helmet 672), model "No 900 Clifton" (see helmet 693), model "No 725 Cavallier" (see this helmet) and model "No 720 Commando" (see helmet 446 ). The helmets had an eyelet on the rear screen for hanging the helmet. On the front is a high, leather front shield. The 6 "front shield is typical of the Flint Flex Series. 725 Cavallier. The model 720 Commando had a small front plate. On the front is written the fire brigade "East Farmingdale" and "Probationary Firefighter". This is a firefighter in the training phase.
