0684 Fire helmet from the USA. The manufacturer of the yellow helmet is the company Morning Pride. The helmet model is: Lite-Force. For more information on the helmet, see helmet number 0668, USA. Together with the aluminized heat protection cover, the helmet becomes the LiteForce Plus from the Proximity series. The helmet has the following features: - Helmet Winter Insertliner - Model: BLF-PROX - Morning Pride Plus Series - Dealer: SAEGSA - Color: yellow - Date of manufacture: 27/03/2002 - Size: 6-9,5 - Weight: 50 OZ - Ear protection: Aluminized - Eye protection: GC (gold coated) - Trim: none - Front: none (no sticker)
Other: WINLR (Winterliner) - Certified Model NFPA 1976-2000. On the visor is the badge of the USA Department of Defense
Fire & Emergency Service. In addition, the slogan "Protecting Those who Defend America. The helmet was used at the Rhein-Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany. From 1945 to 2005 it was a base for the US Air Force (USAF) in Germany. It lay immediately south of the airport Frankfurt am Main and shared with it the runways. During the Cold War, up to 10,000 soldiers were stationed on the Air Base. In contrast to other mixed-use airports, Rhein-Main had its own IATA (FRF) and ICAO code (EDAF).
On September 30, 2005, USF operations ended on the basis of a definitive closing date on December 31, 2005. Since then, the site has been available to the Frankfurt airport as an extension area.
