0672 Fire helmet from the USA. The manufacturer is Cairns & Brothers, USA. The helmet model from the "Flint Flex Series" is called "910 Continental". The helmet was built around 1962. The Flint Flex series was the first helmet series built by Cairns at the new location in New Jersey. In addition, Cairns switched from metal helmets to the lighter helmets made of phenolic resin. The new series included the "No 910 Continental" models (see this helmet), model "No 900 Clifton" (see helmet 693), model "No 725 Cavallier" (see helmet 692) and model "No 720 Commando" 446). The helmets had an eyelet for hanging the helmet on the rear brim. This helmet is characterized by its three combs and the wide, circular brim. It is bulging at the edge of the reinforcement. On the front is a white leather front shield. It shows the number 2 as well as the letters "RHC" and "GFD" below. Unity and fire brigade are not known.
