Ivory Coast Synthetic helmet (˜2001)
In this collection since: 20.02.2015
0649 Firefighter helmet from the Ivory Coast. The white plastic helmet was produced by the French company CGF Gallet in October 2001. The helmet type is called F2. The F2 helmet has an unventilated helmet shell. In contrast to the fire brigade helmets number 263/604/716, this helmet has a closed comb. A holder for a luminaire is mounted on the front. According to the type label, he was built for the French Navy.
The helmet was used by a police unit during the revolution in September 2002. France had built and equipped it. The unit was used in the conquest of the government palace and in the securing of landing sites. The metal badge of the unit can be seen on the front. It shows the country colors of the Ivory Coast and the inscription SP - Police - RCI. For details of the helmet, see helmets 263/604/716.
