Fire helmet from China. The orange polycarbonate helmet is the official helmet of the Chinese organization CFFM. CFFM stands for CHINA FOREST FIRE MANAGEMENT. The manufacturer is Fire Equipment Co., Ltd. The helmet model is HTL-1. The simple helmet consists of a 3mm thick helmet shell. The inner helmet of plastic is connected to the helmet at 4 points. The 4-point chin strap made of nylon fabric uses the same points. Between the inner helmet and the helmet, a layer of styrofoam is added for impact absorption. The Styrofoam is provided with a net. Chin straps and inner helmet can be easily adjusted. The chin strap has a modern plug-in lock. On the inner helmet is a large neck and face shield. It can be closed in front of the face. The polycarbonate visor is attached to the side. Teeth enable adjustment in different opening positions. At the front is the metal batch of the authority. It shows the emblem with the English text "CHINA FOREST FIRE MANAGEMENT" and the Chinese characters. They mean also "China Forest Fire Department". The two stickers on the side means: "Forest fires / safety". The organization CFFM describes the helmet as follows: HTL-1 fire helmet is suitable for fire service use. It prevents the head from being injured by heavy objects. The helmet is equipped with a mask which keeps fire and dust and protects the face from damage. The helmet is connected to the jacket by a scarf. This gives the helmet complete protection during fire fighting.

The GA 44 - 2004 standard complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. The standard replaces the old standard GA 44 - 1993.
