Steel helmet (˜1975)

Fire helmet from Switzerland. The heavy helmet made of steel corresponds to the steel helmets of the Swiss army. It was worn between 1950 and 1970. The inner helmet made of leather consists of three parts. The parts are fed with felt. The simple, leather chin strap can be adjusted in length. It is closed by a simple plate made of steel sheet. Inside, the helmet is black, outside yellow luminescent varnished. On the front is the coat of arms of the municipality of Schönenwerd in the canton of Solothurn.
On the helmet is a thin neck leather attached. The name of the helmet manufacturer Teled is printed on the five press studs.
