Fire helmet from the Netherlands. The orange polycarbonate helmet was worn especially in the fire service in the region of South Limburg. The helmet in the form of US military helmet M1, was in the time around 1980 in use. The helmet was built by the German company Schuberth in Braunschweig according to DIN 4840. The helmet is: Type-D. It was designed as a helmet for mine rescue and rescue from heights. An indication of the manufacturing year is not available. |
