Fire helmet from Hungary at 1970. The fiberglass helmet is on the outside silver in a "hammered look". The helmet shape is similar to the Austrian form. The indicated comb in cross shape is similar to the Austrian "spider". The mounted, rotating rubber bead on the edge of the helmet is not appropriate here. On helmets 77 and 261 it is mounted. Inside the helmet he is in fiber optics. This optic is clearly "rough", more than by the helmets 77 and 261. The inner leather helmet and the chin strap are relatively massive; the chin strap can both hooked, as also adjustable with buckle. The leather straps are elastic to some extent. On the inner helmet a neck guard can be mounted, but it is missing. On both sides of the helmet it is attached a long loop on which a visor can be attached. The visor is inserted and can be easily removed. In the helmet is a sticker. On it stand: "HU POL" and "patent" Possibly a reference to the company "HUPOL Plasztik Szövetkezet - Mészáros u 18 -. 1016 Budapest". This company was incorporated on 02.14.1957 and could be the manufacturer of this helmet. |
