In this collection since: 17.03.2013 |
0525 |
Fire helmet from Germany. The brass helmet comes from the South German city of Staufen im Breisgau. The helmet in the form of Württemberg was built around 1880. Distinctive are the high, short comb, which is soldered onto the helmet bowl. The three circumferential grooves on the connection between helmet bell and eye and neck shield, are striking. At the front, the badge of the fire service of Staufen is attached. The embossed brass badge is an escutcheon with the coat of arms from Staufen (three cups) surrounded by oak leaves and a mural crown.
