Fire helmet from Switzerland. Leather helmet, Swiss standard type at 1910. The leather helmet probably originated, how many Swiss leather helmets, from the German city Offenbach am Main. There, the helmets were manufactured individually as desired. This received a high brass comb in triangular form and shield frames made of brass. At the front, there isattached the the badge of the professional fire brigade of the city of Zurich. The badge is made of brass and enamel. See Helm 138 |
