The helmet type is called AL∙EX.
Colsman describes her helmet as follows:

Helmet shell made of light alloy, double-sided yellow-green, long afterglow, powder coated. Heat- and insulation resistant according to EN 443:2008. Inboard head cushion made of PUR rigid foam, and interior made with steel tape, felt, leather sweatband and polyester- tapes, four-part chin and neck strap made from coated leather, with buckles closure, outside white reflective tape RAL 9019, 20 mm wide.
For the useful life of the shell, there is no specification by the manufacturer!

NEW: head size adjustment externally adjustable
- Yellow-green luminescent (fluorescent) coated
- White reflective tape circumferentially around the helmet (RAL 9019) - 20 mm wide
- Heat-resistant interior of steel tape, felt, sheepskin and polyester stripes
- Four-part chin and neck strap doubliertem leather with buckles closure
- Helmet offers protection against electrical breakdown up to 5000 volts and thus complies with the EN 443:2008 - Standard
Benefits for helmets, which have helmet shell in plastic:
- The cheapest cost
(Helmet must be not phased out after X years) no time restriction on use -
- Accessories (helmet mounts, visor, radio sets, ...) can be used as the helmet shape is identical with that of the former German DIN14940 helmet
- Weight 890 grams - making it to one of the lightest H2 helmets on the market.
- Aluminum helmets are unlike plastic helmets according to PSA ANY time useful life of 8 years
