France Visor (˜1960)
In this collection since: 29.09.2012
0445 Protective shield for the French fire helmets of type Adrian and Petitcollin. Used were the visors in the years between 1950 and 1980.
The visor can be fitted on the front plate of the helmet, a spring with a hook is hooked on the rear shield of the helmet and thus secured. The visor is made of a double aluminum frame positioned about 1 cm from each other. In each frame, a fine grid is fixed. The mesh size is approximately 2x1mm. The visor does not open. It is attached to the helmet, it must remain in front of the face. The view through this visor is surprisingly good. However, it comes through the double layer to an unclear perception. The visor has a weight of approximately 480 grams
