Czechia Synthetic helmet (˜1990)

0384 Fire helmet made of polycarbonate. The white helmet from the Czech Republic has been produced by Ergon N.P. Papírenská 1, 16 610 Praha 6. The helmet has the name PZ11 the exact typ is 0296/e/83. The helmet was worn in the period between 1980 and 2000. He is the successor of the helmet number 233. The helmet shape is modeled as its predecessor, the classic form of the Soviet Army helmets (see helmet 32 and 182). The helmet interior is relatively complex, wide nylon straps and a large head flapper leather interior provide the protection. The head size adjustment can be made on a wide leather, fixed by a Velcro. The leather neck guard is bolted to the helmet bowl, and it is relatively large. The visor is attached on the side of the helmet. It is relatively thin and only 10cm high. At the front a metal bracket for mounting a luminaire is mounted. The oversized, side sticker showing the uniform coat of arms of firefighters in the country.
