| 0379 | German M34 fire helmet from pre-war production in 1934 at this time without the usual and frequently changing badge (coat of arms German Reich, the swastika / eagle of the Fire Police Organisation). In contrast to the helmet 357 the comb, according to the decree dated 03.05.1934, wich is requirement for professional firefighters is assembled here. The helmet was worn by the professional firefighters in Darmstadt. The helmet shows the internal stampings PDD / K / DRP ang. (Deutsches Reich Patent pending). The German Reich patent was introduced 1877. Striking at this helmet are the ventilation openings. The holes are not drilled directly into the helmet bowl, they where set into a special opening in the helmet bowl. | |||||
