Extremely lightweight or extremely robust? The half shell helmet Dräger HPS 4300 is both - and additionally offers optimum wearing comfort as well as the latest interior fitting with individual, easy to use adjustment possibilities. Because every head is individual.

Currently the lightest helmet in its class
Especially dedicated to the requirements of the new EN 443:2008 - type A, the HPS 4300 is currently the lightest helmet in its class approved according to this standard - without compromising wearing comfort and safety.

Extremely robust and flame resistant helmet shell
The helmet shell consists of a high-temperature resistant Duroplast-material that is reinforced using the latest aramid textile.It withstands the extreme caused by open flames or radiation. Even at high temperatures, the head is reliably protected against penetration and shock impact. The helmet shell moulded according to the SMC-procedure has been treated with a highly durable finish, which also offers high system-inherent fire resistance.

Temperature and scratch resistant visor
The amber visor consists of a thermically high resistant polysulfone material and reaches down to the chin so that the face is suitably protected. (Approval as "face protection" according to EN 14458. Helmet incl. Polysulfone-visor is approved according to the new standard EN 443:2008). The visor has an anti-scratch protection on both sides and offers the option of a gold coating for applications operating under high IR-radiation. Available as an option, is a Polycarbonate-visor. HPS 4300 with this Polycarbonate-visor is approved according to EN 443 for Technical Rescue Applications.

Individual comfort and perfect climate
The modern interior fitting and innovative 4-point harness ensure exceptional wearing comfort. The special adjustment wheel offers one-handed progressive adjustment to individual head sizes. The harness of fire resistant and washable nomex/aramid can be adjusted individually by strap buckles in the neck area and by a pull system at the temples. The integrated hairnet serves for height adjustment and at the same time ensures a good climate in the helmet interior.

Wide selection of accessories
Due to the wide selection of accessories, the helmet can be adjusted to all the multiple individual requirements of the fire services. For optimum protection of the neck area against mechanical and thermal stress, neck curtains are available in various designs and materials. A wide selection of different visors, helmet lamps and communication systems tops off the accessories programme for the Dräger HPS 4300.
