Fire helmet from Germany. The helmet was made by the German company Casco under the name PF 1000 LS (the helmet was also available in a simpler trim level as PF 1000 LS regular) and it was sold in the period from 1994 to 2005. Below the helmet description of the company Casco: The helmet is the predecessor of the Casco helmet PF112 (see helmet No: 287). The classic silhouette of the PF1000 LS is from the original DIN- helmet H3 (German Industry Norm). Its outer shell is however made from Vautron organo-Fiber ™. This allows the helmet a approval by EN443, the current European standard of fire helmets. The modern interior with disk-Fit System™ and the 3-D visor design leave in comfort nothing to be desired. Outer shell: from Vautron organo-Fiber ™ (High-tech composite materials on glass fabric base) Inner shell: Re-cept™ (highly shock absorbing) Helmet fit by CASCO Disk-Fit-System ™ (LS Comfort: with hairnet) PF 1000 LS regular: nack strap adjustable with safety buckle PF 1000 LS comfort: adjustable, leather clad nack strap with push-button lock and panic bar. 3-D visor CARBOTEX ™ Standards: DIN EN 443 and DIN EN 136 Sizes: 52 - 64 cm.
