Synthetic helmet (˜1989)

Belgian fire helmet from the capital Brussels.
Manufacturer is the German company Dräger. The model is called F1. The F1 model has the following features:
Gold face visor, clear eye sight, long shell in the ear area, head size can be adjusted within the size range, carrying system from an aramid mesh for a comfortable fit, chin straps and harnesses made of flame resistant aramid fabric with quick-to-use automatic buckle, in conjunction with full face masks Panorama Nova and F2 Dräger with steel adapters are the ideal helmet for respiratory protection.
COLOR: yellow - fluorescent, silver front on top of the helmet
NORM: HELMET: EN 443, VISOR: EN 166
WEIGHT: 1,150 grams
SIZE: 53 - 59 (50 - 52 pads, must be ordered as an accessory!)
The helmet was made in 1989.
While in Belgium the Gallet helmets were used from 2005, the Gallet helmets were taken in Brussels since 1990.
On the front is the badge of firefighters from Brussels, on the side, the ststion number “23” attached. On the backside the firefighter's name.
The marking of the ranks is as follows:
Caporal = Fluorescent helmet, a thin black line
Sergent = Fluorescent helmet, two thin black stripes
Adjudand = yellow helmet, a thick black line
Lieutenant and Captain Commandant = a red stripe
Colonel = a thick and a thin red stripe |
