The coat of arms shows the Phoenix. On the breast of the bird is a shield with the coat of arms of Batalha. Behind the two large arms FW-axes are crossed. The motto of the unit is called "Sem Olhar A Quem" (without the view of someone). Firemen's wearing the helmet in red, higher firefighters, such as firefighters 2nd and 1 Class, have a yellow helmet. White helmets are used by officers like subchef and chief (commander). The helmet is fully lined inside with fabric. A neck cloth is not provided.
