The fire department Stockholm has altogether 11 fire stations. Headquarters is the fire station of Johannes on the main island of Norrmalm, the administration, regional headquarters and dispaching center is also accommodated here. The individual fire stations have partly special task areas, so the fire station on the island of Kungsholmen is equipped with special divers and equipment. The crew of the fireboat is located in the station Kristina (Södermalm island), the oldest station of Stockholm (1876), in addition, a fire department museum is housed here. Visitors should apply before, otherwise pass it, that one isn't let in. (Visit address fire department museum: Tjärhovsgatan 9, 116 21 Stockholm). The helmet from the company Brissmann type: BR & BRV (see also no.: 70/159) be based on the German steel helmet, which 1936 was copied for the first time. This helmet from a fire-proof glass fiber (fiber polyester) with an integrated comb gives it since 1960, this helmet 1975 was produced.
The inside helmet is made of leather, the size adjusting is made by a velcro. The chinstrap is from an elastic tape, two point fastening and fast seal by a metal ring. A felt inlay is inside, to the head to untreated, to the outer bowl coated with aluminum (heat reflection).
The helmet bears the coat of arms of the "Stockholm Brandförsvar" in front. One approx. 25 mm broad, yellow reflex stripe circulatingly is stuck on. He indicates an officer together with the yellow primary color of the helmet. The initials KR stands at the side. Every fireman in Stockholm has his initials at the helmet because of the reconnaissance.
Here the ranking:
