0305 Helm of the autonomous province of Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy. The black helmet of phenolic resin was worn in the province of Bolzano in the fire department of the city of Bolzano. For identification purpose, the number 15 was placed in front of helmet. As described at helmet No.: 165, there are only in the German-speaking areas of South Tyrol in Italy volunteer fire brigades while in Italy there are only professional fire departments. Motto of the guard in Latin: Toto Corde in periculo.
The helmet is manufactured by Violini Milan. The age is not known, but is in the range of 44 helmets around 1970. The emblem is made of metal. Inside, the interior of the helmet harness "FF - ST J" is printed which is unusual. FF-St J stands for St. Johann Volunteer Fire Department. This is in addition to the FF Oberau - Haslach, one of two volunteer fire departments of the city of Bolzano who have never worn these helmets.
The head size is indicated with size 57, an adjustment of the helmet interior is not possible.
