| 0293 | Safety helmet from Thailand. The red Polycarbonathelm has the classic form of a making safety helmet. Type and manufacturers are unknown. A reference to the manufacturer "Safety Protecap KSH" is at the eye umbrella inside. The manufacturer, however, couldn't be found out. The chromium plated badge of the police fire department of the city of Bangkok is attached at the front. The relief like, chromium plated badge is fastened by a bracket to the helmet inside. The emblem shows the coat of arms of the Thai king "Rama V" (1868 -- 1910) in the center. About this the king crown is represented between two pagodas. The stroke below is called "Bangkok". The helmet was worn at a unity of the police in Bangkok, this one is responsible there for the preventive fire protection in public buildings. The chinstrap from an elastic tape is kept in the colors of Thailand (blue/white/red), but doesn't agree with the order, however, on the country flag.See helmets number 142/143. | |||||
