Croatia Synthetic helmet (˜2006)

0284 Modern fire helmet from a Croatian production. The manufacturer is the company, PAB Plastika Akrapovic Buzet. The helmet is called: PAB Compacta PU. He is the revised form of the helmet type PAB Fire (see helmet no.: 210). The helmet seems to be ahelmet between the light helmets number 187/207 and the heavy helmets no.: 210. His execution is optimized. He all in all is considerably more lowly and not so large like number 210. The company PAB describes the helmet as follows:
PAB Compacta is a constructive solution, developed to the European standard EN443, EN166 and the national standard HRN Z.B1.400 for the professional fireman.
Purpose:
All-round protection for the head in every fire use, All-round protection for the head in the rescue service use and industrial protection, to temperatures around 140 degrees Celsius.
There is a making pattern certificate for the helmet according to the ÖNORM EN443 (Austria).
This one is the number of the check: BMB 99 633/634.
The helmet bowl is constant from heavy inflammable anti-lock braking system/PA Copolimer against temperatures to 140 degrees Celsius.
In the helmet, a clear visor from Polycarbonat built-in. In case of use, it could be pulled out. The visor is only a narrow visor like in the case of helmet 187/207. The is visor not covering the whole face. The inside basket can be adjusted by size 54 to 62 by a handwheel. The chinstrap could be closed by a modern seal. A leather neck protection can be attached with 7 pushbuttons behind. The assembly is fast and uncomplicated. A yellow flourescent tape and a silver reflecting tape is attached almost circulatingly at the helmet. The badge of the Croatian fire departments is missing at the front. It could be attached also. The helmet all in all makes a very stable and well worn impression, the inside helmet is covered with leather, the chinstrap could be altered. The yellow helmet isn't flourescent. The manufacturer define the time of use for 4 years, the production year is 2006. The use of a breath protective mask according to DIN EN 136 is possible.
