Australia Synthetic helmet (˜1995)
In this collection since: 03.09.2006
0271 Fire helmet from the city of Durban, Nordern Terretorries, Australia. The yellow fire helmet made of synthetic material, has the classic form of the American fire helmets. Manufacturer of the helmet is the Australian company Scott Aspen, the type is called: Fire fighter F.F. 2. After a sticker inside the helmet the company can be found under the following address: Scott Sspen P/L, 32 Folkstone PDE, Botany, NSW., 2019 Australia. Unfortunately, a web site cannot be found. The helmet was produced in June 1995 and is allowed to N.F.P.A 1975.1985 as well as the Australian standard AS4 067 of 1994. The helmet size is adjustable from 54 to 62 cm. The adjustment is made by a knob at the back part of the inside helmet. A blow absorption system is built-in in the inner of the helmet. The badge of the "Northern Territory Fire service" is appropriate at the front. Furthermore the motto "To serve and to protect" has to be read. Yellow reflectors at the side and behind are placed. The name of the original owner A.R. Smith also has to be read behind.

Question: Who knows the company Scott Aspen?
