Hungary Synthetic helmet (˜1970)
In this collection since: 17.04.2006
0261 Fire helmet from Hungary at 1970. The glass fiber helmet is silver-colored on the outside. After the badge at the front the helmet is from the city of Cegléd.
A uniform fire department badge is normally borne at the uniforms in Hungary, the stroke of the town half-roundly is appropriate over this. Such a stroke made of fabric also is on this helmet. Whether this is a uniform method isn't known. The helmet no: 77 is lettered differently.
The helmet form resembles the Austrian the indicated cockscomb in cross form resembles to the Austrian "spider" comb. An on-riveted rubber coating circulatingly provides the edge protection. The helmet is in fiber optics inside. The inside helmet from leather and the chinstrap is relatively solidly, the chinstrap can be put in and altered by a buckle. The leather ribbons are partly elastic. A neck guard can be attached at the inside helmet, this is, however, missing.
A long eye is appropriate on the two sides of the helmet, a visor can be attached at these. The Visor only is put in and simply can be removed by a movement up.

Question: Is the marking original?
