Thailand Synthetic helmet (˜1985)
In this collection since: 28.11.2005
0252 Helmet from the professional fire department Pattaya in Thailand. The black synthetic material helmet is a Thai product. These helmets are in use today certainly. Whether the yellow color has something to mean, nobody could answer me, however, I think that yellowly stands for teams and black for officers. The glass fiber helmet is relatively solid, the helmet bowl is very thick.
The comb is relatively distinctive and doesn't end as in the case of the helmet no.: 143 in front in a kind of faceplate but has moved far down. No badge is appropriate at the front. Together with the helmet I have got an arm badge. The yellow badge shows the colors of the Thai flag above, under this a blue hand, in this are 4 signs. A bomb, fire, a hurricane and water. The eye visor is made from relatively thick (4 mm) plexiglas and is fastened at the side on the helmet brim. The inside helmet is relatively simple, the head size adjustment is a velcro, the chinstrap has one separate chin-guard and a fast seal made of synthetic material. A neck leather isn't scheduled. See also helmet no.: 143
