New Zealand Synthetic helmet (˜2004)
In this collection since: 26.11.2005
0251 Fire helmet the company Pacific Helmets, New Zealand. The type is called F7 (F7A). The helmet was developed for the use at fire departments. He is certified according to the EN443 and also corresponds to the American NFPA. A signpost expels the usability inside in the inside attack. The helmet resists 500° Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius) 5 minutes long. The persistently lacquered, very light helmet from Kevlar, is a two bowl helmet with down collapsible short 2 mm strong eye protection from Polycarbonat and three point chinstraps. A blow absorption system is built-in inside. The helmet is adjustable for head sizes of 54 to 62 cm over a trick screw. It seems strange that the complete inside helmet (except the stripes of the chinstrap) is inserted only into the helmet, not fixed, what a closing the visor makes possible only with difficulty! A neck guard and a 3 mm strong visor are optionally available. The fastenings at the side are attached for breath protective masks.
