Fire helmet from Iraq. The black helmet was used at the professional fire department Arbil in the north Iraq. Arbil is the Capital city of the administration district of the same name and one of the oldest towns wich are continuously settled. The helmet is produced of glass fiber reinforced synthetic material, on the outside he is coatedly with black synthetic material, inside raw. The helmet in the classic American helmet form has largely similarity to the helmets of the American company MSA, see helmet no. 220. It is conspicuous that the inside helmet is stocked by the helmet bell on 6 points. A brow band in the classic meaning doesn't give it, a size adjustment therefore seems also impossible. A chinstrap made of nylon at least is available. The helmet is provided circulatingly with a rubber edge protection at the edge, the emblem of the fire department is appropriate at the front. Whether it is the emblem of the professional fire brigade Arbil or the Iraqi fire department isn't known. The emblem is from a very easy one, brass Metal cast. Question: Who knows the manufacturer of this helmet? |
