0218 Fire helmet from the South African city of Pretoria. The yellow fire department helmet is from an American production. The manufacturer is the company Cairns Helmets, the type: 360S. The helmet was manufactured in the USA according to the NFPA 1971, in the version from 2000. The NFPA 1971 regulates the Unity the protection equipments and equipment in the USA. This Cairns 330 S is the A model in yellow colour, Size ADJ, Neck ear protection L655X, Chinstrap C892, Face protection 5805 C, Model weight 41.3 l, the expiration date is indicated with 5-9-2001. The face protection is no longer available, merely the lateral fastenings have been left. As a countermove to the older 660 models these 330S version are quite well equipped. A blow protection system is built-in inside, the inside helmet is extended at the head plate, the chinstrap can be altered by a wheel. Unfortunately, no badges of the city of Pretoria are appropriate at this helmet. See also helmets number 24 and 69.
