South-Korea Synthetic helmet (˜2001)
In this collection since: 07.05.2004
0195 South Korean fire helmet from the city of Tae-baek. The yellow synthetic material helmet is from the company SanChoang. The helmet model is the fourth version, wich one was worn in south Korea. There are altogether seven versions with the helmets of the rescue service together. The helmet was worn only at the time between 2001 till 2002 when the clothes were revised newly at this time. Officers wore the white helmet, teams the yellow till 2002. With the introduction of the new models black helmets are for teams and for officers blue helmets provided. (see helmet no.: 196) The helmet resembles to the American helmets in his form. The long, aluminum coated neck cloth is striking. The very stable inside helmet causes a very good seat, the chinstrap made of nylon is closed by a stable synthetic material seal, the length adjustment could made by a velcro. The eye protection visor is relatively short. An yellow sticker with the emblem is at the front.
Question: Who knows the manufacturer SanChoang? What means the badge?
