Synthetic helmet (˜1960)

Helmet of the red cross organization. The white helmet whose lower half is black, has behind a neck leather, wich one is quite solid with almost 8 mm of thickness. The helmet is equipped with a visor which is 75 mm high and wich one covers merely the eyes. Through a hardware connection on the two sides of the helmet, the visor can be removed fast. On the seals stands "TGEHE Tenax". Another hardware connection at the front of the visor is looking the visor in a closed position. The helmet has an 55 x55mm great red cross symbol at the front. The inside helmet corresponds to the inside helmets of the fire department helmets DIN 14940. The inside helmet circulatingly is strengthened against the helmet bowl with a rubber. The helmet bell is equipped with a PU foam. The stripes of the chinstrap consists of substance, the seals are fast to open. The helmet was equipment of the local organization of the Red Crossin the city of Haßloch. It is possibly that this helmet is a helmet from the police, old type from the 1960s.
