| 0171 | Japanese fire helmet from the 1970s years. The black synthetic material helmet resembles his successor in the form, the helmet no.: 103, but he is is much thinner from the material. For the reinforcements a kind of comb is in cross form above. This helmet form was introduced after the 2nd World War. The traditionally approved shoulder protection finds use further. The protection cloth is fastened to the inside helmet with hooks. The protection cloth is locked with two pushbuttons and only releases the eyes in closed condition. Four characters are in white on the back. The inside helmet doesn't have any chinstrap. The helmet is locked with two strips which must be tied! The inside helmet itself is fastened by ribbons to the helmet bell. For the distance attitude are on the outside styrofoam pieces tied up at the inside helmet! A very unconventional construction! A sticker which well refers to the manufacturer of the helmet in Japanese characters is appropriate inside helmet. Besides this the name of the manufacturer "Tokyohat" is shown. A golden badge is assembled at the helmet front on a leather underground. The badge shows a kind of leaves with a pentagonal flower. It is the sign of the fire department of Nagasaki. | |||||||
