| 0125 | Black leather helmet with visor from Scotland. The helmet modelJames Hendry, has a similarity to the helmet no. 122. The broad leather doubling, this one in front is going centrically over the helmet to behind, is typical of the helmets from these model. The comb is missing, though. A red 8 is written at the front, under this stands: "AFB". Originally once a badge could have been assembled here, because two holes going through till inside are available. The very heavy and solid helmet, has in front like behind a very vertical forehead and neck shield, how the back at the side goes under the one at the front and is a little longer. The plexiglas visor which one at the side is fastened, is 4 mm strong. On the right side of the aluminum mount is the patent no.: "681314/51M" one stamped. A stamp shows the date "DEC 1970" in the helmet. Whether this is the production year isn't known. The helmet was used at a Airport fire Brigade. | |||||||||
